A handbag could be the only street style bait you need, as long as you’re toting the right style. And there are so many to welcome
with open arms: a candy coloured croc, a circle-shape crossbody or a modern twist on the lady like bag, or the ever so trending belt bag.

Chimpel’s design inspiration is usually derived from a more classic perspective. However, I must admit I was on the fence with the whole
fanny-pack thing. But as the trend infiltrated every corner of the fashion world and it is still going strong… which is why I dipped my toe
into this specific trend. Needless to say, our design has a classic twist and the belt bag could be worn in so many ways should the trend fade.

Ethical Designs…

My design inspiration usually comes from various “waste” after a full ostrich or crocodile handbag is made. Each piece of leather is so uniquely
different whether it is the colour or the scales of that particular piece. Chimpel’s design philosophy is to make pieces that last for generation to
come. We believe in less is more and that a bag will elevate any outfit even if it clashes or matches.
